Experienced Math Instructor
Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University
M.A.Sc. at University of Toronto
I was born in a family of engineers and I have always dreamed to become an experienced engineer, aiming to solve current and emerging environmental issues. Hence, I pursued a degree in Environmental Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University during my undergraduate. During my undergraduate study, I have conducted a number of research studies in energy modeling. With passion and pursuit in science and technology, I chose to pursue a M.A.Sc. degree at the University of Toronto, and conducted research studies in building science, air flow modeling, and energy modeling.
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the Johns Hopkins University. My primary research interests include air chemistry, atmospheric science, air flow modeling, and the impacts of building HVAC systems on indoor air quality.
I strongly believe that education is the key to success. During the past two years, I have taught math classes for students from pre-k to Grade 5 in Toronto. I have a brother who is currently in Grade 4 in China. I have also been volunteering in his school as an English teacher. All these experiences made me realize my huge passion about early education and I hope I can expand my interest and passion to a larger extent at iKids Education.
